Is there a fee for coming to my home?
The first visit is complimentary. This allows the designer to look at your home, determine your needs and what must be accomplished, and how to best achieve the goal.

After the initial visit, how is the designer compensated for a design project?
Designers typically charge by the hour for consultation, drawing up plans and selecting design components (paint, wallpaper, etc.). Your designer will be happy to discuss their hourly rate as well as an estimate of the time a given design project may take with you before beginning on your project. A design project may also include a signed letter of agreement with a retainer based on the scope of the project. Furniture, accessories, wallpaper, fabrics and the like are paid for seperately. Your designer will work with you and help ensure that the prices for such items are fair and competetive.

Will the designer incorporate the things I already own into the plan?
Absolutely! The designer will assess what may be incorporated into the plan and how best to utilize each item.

Do your designers have access to all furniture and fabric lines?
Stoney Broke designers have access to any furniture or fabric lines, and may accompany a customer to any local showrooms for further options.
5.
Is my project too small for a designer?
The designers at Stoney Broke, Ltd. will gladly work on any size project, from a table and a lamp, to a complete home.
