Nothing lasts forever, sadly. The Framing Girl's mirrors have left the building.
Mirrors by The Framing Girl
Stoney Broke is pleased to announce an installation of mirrors in handmade, hand-finished frames made by Donna English, "The Framing Girl." The frames are beatifully constructed and feature workmanship that is simply not seen in manufactured frames. The mirrors themselves include plain, beveled, antiqued and etched glass. Each mirror is truly a one-of-a-kind work of art!
This fabulous display has flown south for the winter.
FLORIDA MEETS KENNEBUNKPORT

Nothing lasts forever, sadly. But from time to time Claudia and other local artists will certainly make an appearance at Stoney Broke!
Claudia True brings her joyous, colorful art to Stoney Broke in July!
Claudia's paintings are her journal of this adventure called life! Visitors to Stoney Broke can enjoy her colorful paintings of flowers, landscapes and still lifes. Claudia's style ranges from expressionistic realism to bright, colorful and "fun and funky." The greatest gift to this artist is when her art makes someone smile!

Amazing advances have been made in outdoor fabrics. Thanks to the latest technology, they have taken on a whole new look and feel.
When shopping for outdoor fabrics for uses such as cushions, upholstery, pillows or even drapery, look for certain tips to guide you. Durability can be measured by abrasion ratings given on each fabric. Resistance to moisture and sun fading can be judged by fiber content. Fibers can be man-made, such as acrylic or viscose, or they can be natural (or "green") like jute or even bamboo.
The "hand" (feel) of the latest fabrics is remarkably soft and inviting; not at all like the stiff, rougher fabrics of the past. Indoor use of such fabrics is not at all uncommon, especially since they make cleanup a breeze! That glass of red wine or child's birthday cake is no longer a worry.
Stoney Broke has a wide variety of the latest indoor/outdoor fabrics on display. Drop by soon to experience the latest and be surprised! Our designers will be glad to assist you with just the right selections.
